Trio, solo and chorus, "Mynheer van Dunck"

Words by G. Coleman, Jun.

Set for Trio, solo and chorus, "Mynheer van Dunck" occurs in "The Law of Java," produced in 1822, and was sung by the students of Edinburgh University in 1872, 1877, 1881 and 1884.  Together with "The winds whistle cold," "The chough and Crow," and "Hail to the Chief," "Mynheer" may be classed with the most popular glees by this thoroughly English musician.
