Reid, Gavin, 1966-
Gavin Reid was born and educated in Edinburgh. In 1997 he was principal trumpet with the Manchester Camerata. As a student at the Royal Northern College of Music he was awarded both a performer's diploma and the Hiles Medal before continuing his studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
