Piddocke, Melanie

Originally from Australia Melanie Piddocke began her musical studies there on modern clarinet completing a degree in Music at the Queensland Conservatoire.  She then moved to The Netherlands to pursue her interest in historical performance practice studying for four years at the Koninklijk Conservatoriumin The Hague with Eric Hoeprich.  In 2010 whe was undertaking a PhD in organology at the Reid School of Music at the University of Edinburgh and performing as a freelance musician.  Melanie returned to Australia in 2011.
