Pernel, Orrea, 1906-1993

Pernel Imogen Yolande Wilson (Orrea Pernel) as born in Kent and died in Bideford, Devon. 

Orrea toured extensively in the U.S.A. and in Europe, in recitals and chamber music (including participation in the Casals Music Festivals at Prades), and as concerto soloist with many symphonies including the Boston Symphony under Koussevitsky, the Toronto, Montreal etc. and with the BBC, Zurich and Helsinki Radio Orchestras.
