Euphrosyne (De Boyescu, Parepa); Scottish soprano; dau. of Baron Georgiades de Boyescu; debut in Malta under the name Euphrosyne Parepa, 1855; on tour in U.S. 1865, where she married Carl Rosa in Feb. 1867 and the formed an opera company together; b. Edinburgh 7 May 1836; d. London 21 Jan. 1874

Performed regularly as Euphrosyne Parepa with the Hallé Orchestra at their Thursday concerts in Manchester between March 1860 and March 1866
