Murray, Ian, 1961-1996
Ian Murray was born in Norwich and studied at the Guildhall School of Music before taking up a position as bass trombonist with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra. He also taught trombone at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (now the Royal Scottish Conservatoire)
