Mitchell, Alison
Alison Jane Mitchell graudated with a BA (Music) distinction from the Victorian College of Arts, Australia and continued her studies in Switzerland with the renowned flautist Peter-Lucas Graf. She settled in the UK playing with many of the major orchestras including Scottish Opera where she was principal flute from 1987 to 1992. Alison combined a busy free-lance career with teaching before returning to Australia to play principal flute with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra.
