Student at the Faculty of Music, University of Edinburgh in the 1970s. Former Principal Teacher of Music at Craigmount School, Edinburgh. Pianist, violinist, teacher and ABRSM examiner. Member of several orchestras including the Scottish Fiddle Orchestra and Scottish Sinfonia.
