Miller, Jeff

Jeff Miller was born in Virginia and gained a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Shenandoah Conservatory of Music and a Master's in Tuba from the Mannes College of Music in Manhattan.  His tutors have included David Fedderly at the Juillard School, David Taylor, NYC trombonist and tuba virtuoso Roger Bobo.   He performs on serpent, ophicleide, saxhorns and both early and modern tubas.  In 2023 he is pursuing a PhD at the Centre for Digital Music Research at Queen Mary University of London researching the creation of mathematical tonal spaces to model harmonic sequences and chord similarity.
