McNaught, Fiona

British violinist Fiona McNaught started to play the violin when she was four years old.  At 14 she began to study with Krzysztof Smietana at Junior Guildhall.  After a term At St Catharine's College, Cambridge, Fiona transferred to the Guildhall School of Music and Drama to study with David Takeno, graduating with a first class honours degree and continued with postgraduate study thanks to a Leverhulme Scholarship.  She formed a Duo in 1995 with Daniel Tong.  Both had studied music at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.
