Lester, Harold

British pianist, harpsichordist, organist and conductor Harold Lester was born in London.  He studied at Trinity College of Music and was principal pianist with many of the major orchestras in London.  As a continuo player he has worked with leading chamber ensembles, as a repetiteur with leading opera companies and as an accompanist he toured for many years with Cathy Berberian.
