Lablache, Luigi, 1794-1858

Italian opera singer of French and Irish heritage.  
Son of Nicolas LablacheMarried Emilie Demeric-Labalche.

Father of thirteen children of whom Nicolas and Frederick were also singers, although Frederick was more famous than Nicolas.
Luigi's eldest daughter married pianist, Sigismond Thalberg.
