Jackson, Enoch, 1909-1979

Enoch Thomas Jackson became a professional trumpet player in 1934 having been principal cornet with the Besses and Creswell Band. 
He played trumpet with the BBC Symphony Orchestra,  the Liverpool Philharmonic was for many year principal trumpet with the Scottish National Orchestra and professor of trumpet at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music in Glasgow.
In 1977 he married Marion Ayre and he died in 1979 in East Dumbartonshire.
