Hoffmann, Bruno, 1913-1991
German musician who did much to revive interest in the glass harp (musical glasses) and the glass harmonica (a mechanical version of the musical glasses, invented by Benjamin Franklin, consisting of a series of glass bowls of graduated size threaded on a spindle, and rotated by means of a foot pedal).
