Catherine Friskin is listed on the 1911 census as a student of music at Northlands which was run by Sophie Weisse.
Donald Francis Tovey appears on the same census.

In 1925 she was living with her mother in New York and on the 1930 census she is listed as a teacher at a school in Massachusetts.
On the 6 May 1957 at the age of 65 Catherine Murray Friskin became a U.S. citizen.   Died in Massachusetts in March 1977.
