Esfahani, Mahan, 1984-
Mahan Esfahani was born in Tehran and first studied piano with his father and as a teenager went on to explore an interest in the harpsichord and the organ. He studied musicology with George Houle and later in Boston with Peter Watchorn and in Milan with Lorenzo Ghielmi.
