Desler, Anne
Dr Anne Desler is a performer-scholar specialising in 18th-century Italian opera. She holds a DMA (Doctor of Musical Arts) in Historical Performance Practice from the University of Southern California and a PhD in Musicology from the University of Glasgow. Anne taught both music and drama at Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance and the University of Hull before joining the University of Edinburgh in 2014 where she is Director of Performance at the Reid School of Music.
