Currie, John, 1934-2020
Born in Ayrshire and educated at Ayr Academy. He continued his studies at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music (now the Conservatoire of Scotland) and at the University of Glasgow.
Formed the John Currie Singers in 1966 and in the same year was appointed Chorus Master of the Scottish National Orchestra Chorus.
