Cuckston, Alan, 1940-

Alan Cuckston was born in Yorkshire and read music at King's College, Cambridge.  Playing harpsichord, piano and organ, he has toured extensively in many parts of Europe and America both as a solo recitalist, and with such ensembles as the Academy of St Martin in the Fields.  Alan Cuckston broadcasts frequently and has made many recordings of repertoire from the 13th to the 20th centuries, including one of works dedicated to Percy Gainger.
