Botwright, Valerie, 1949-
Valerie Botwright was born in Woolwich, London and studied at the Royal Academy of Music; clarinet with John Davies and double bass with John Walton. In the 1970s she was appointed Principal Bass of the Scottish Baroque Ensemble and became a founder member and Principal Bass of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra.
