Concert was preceded at 4.00 pm on Tuesday 7 December by a public lecture given by Professor Tovey in the Music Class Room, on some of the works to be performed.
Concert series was advertised in The Scotsman on November 17, 1915 under the heading 'University Concerts'.
Publicity printed on the back page for Third concert on February 4 and Fourth concert on February 16, 1916 giving details of works and performers.
Advance notice too of public lectures by Professor Tovey on Tuesday afternoons February 1 and February 15, 1916 at 4.00 pm

The two English chorales by Sir Hubert Parry were probably two chorale preludes on 'Melcombe' and 'The Old 104th' from Parry's Seven Chorale Preludes for Organ, set 1, apparently composed 1911-12.
