New Violin Octet (Carleen Hutchins)
The new violin octet has been developed over the past 30 years (1960-1900s) by Carleen Hutchins and their Catgut Acoustical Society of America. Edinburgh University Collection of Historic Musical Instruments (now MIMEd) has [in 1995] the only set of such instruments in Britain.
