Ioannidis, Yannis, 1930-

Born in Athens, Ioannidis studied music at the Athens Conservatory (1945-1954) and the Vienna Academy of Music (1953-1963). In 1968 he settles in Caracas, Venezuela. Returning to Greece in 1976, since when he has played a leading role in the musical life of Greece.
