Cruft, Adrian, 1921-1987

Adrian Francis Cruft was a composer, conductor and double bass player, son of Eugene Cruft.  He studied at Westminster Abbey Choir School, Westminster School and was a Boult conducting scholar at the Royal College of Music from 1938.   Cruft studied composition with Gordon Jacob and Edmund Rubbra and became Chairman of the Composers' Guild of Great Britain in 1966.
