Alessandrini, Patricia, 1970-
Patricia Alessandrini is a composer/sound artist creating compositions, installations, and performance situations, most often interactive. She studied composition and electronics at the Conservatorio di Bologna, Conservatoire de Strasbourg and IRCAM, and holds PhDs from Princeton University and the Sonic Arts Centre (SARC) Queens University, Belfast. Patricia taught Computer-Assisted Composition at the Accadmia Musicale Pescarese, Composition with Technology at Bangor University, as a Lecturer inSonic Arts at Goldsmiths, amd performs research, inclugin instrumental design for inclusive performance, at CCRMA. She also serves on the international board of Share Music & Performing Arts.
