An arrangement for full orchestra by the composer, with some modifications, of Nos. 1, 3 and 6 of the set of ten "Ungarische Tänze" composed for pianoforte duet. These dances were subsquently arranged by Joseph Joachim for violin and pianofort (see Reid Concert 1880).
Programme implies first performance in Scotland at the Reid Concert in 1875.
