Allegro maestoso
Scherzo: Vivace ma non troppo presto
Canzona Dorica. Adagio
Finale.  Allegro con moto energico

Published 1913 and performed that year in the German city of Aachen (also known in English  Aix-l-Chapelle).  Further performances planned for Munich, Berlin and Cologne were cancelled in consequence of the war . (Article by John Petrie Dunn, 1921, in Tovey Collection, EUL, Special Collections).

The slow movement, Canzona Dorica,  was performed on its own by the Reid Orchestra in the opening concert of the 1923 season on Saturday, February 3, 1923 'in memoriam, Dr James Walker'.
