The Clarinet Quartets op. 79 for clarinet, violin, viola and cello, published by Joh. Andre of Offenbach in 1799, are arrangements of two Violin Sonatas, K. 378 (317d) and K. 380 (374f) and the Piano Trio, K. 496. The Quartets have only recently been rediscovered by the German clarinettist Dieter Klocker in the estate of the late clarinettist, Kurt Rauschenbach of the State Theatre of Braunschweig.
