"The Blackness of Darkness"
Commisioned for an organ recital by David Titterington in Wellington, New Zealand in 1993.
The composer writes: "Raging waves of the sea foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever." This, says Jude (v.13) is the doom of false teachers. The music explores some of the darker colour of the organ.
