Anniversary, op. 70
Written in 1977 in tribute to the Royal Silver Jubilee that year in the UK.
Commissioned by Colin Kingsley with the assistance of the Scottish Arts Council and the Hope Scott Trust.
1977 was the 40th anniversary of Fricker entering the Royal College of Music as a student and the 30th anniversary of the composition of his Wind Quintet.
