Woodrow, Anthony, 1938-2016
Double bass player and violone specialist Anthony Thomas Woodrow was born in Brighton. He studied at the Guildhall School of Music and played with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Dutch Chamber Orchestra and the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. He spent many years in The Netherlands before moving to Tucson, Arizona where he died in 2016.
