Witzmann, Thomas, 1958-

Thomas Witzmann was born in Coburg and from 1980 to 1985 studied percussion at the Musikhochschule Köln with Professor Christoph Caskel and Peter Giger and from 1982 participated in concerts as interpreter or soloist in New Music. Since 1986 he has been involved in the border zone between New Music, improvisation, music theatre and art.  In 1992 he received a grant to Akademie Schloß Solitude in Stuttgart.
