Tanfield, Peter, 1961-

Having started the violin at the age of four, Peter Tanfield studied in England with Leonard Hirsch before attending the Rubin Academy in Tel-Aviv, Israel under Felix Andreivsky.  He was then invited to join the International Menuhin Academy in Gstaad with Felix Andrievsky, Alberto Lysy and Yehudi Menuhin before continuing his studies with Herman Krebbers at the Sweelinck Conservatorium in Amsterdam for two years.
