Sweeney William, 1950-
Scottish composer and clarinettist William Sweeney was born in Glasgow. He studied clarinet and composition at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama with W.T. Clucas and Frank Spedding and later at the Royal Academy of Music in London with Alan Hacker and Harrison Birtwistle.
