Studdert-Kennedy, Matthew, 1976-

Matthew Lancelot Studdert-Kennedy is a flautist and music administrator, born in Birmingham, who graduated from the Faculty of Music at the University of Edinburgh in 1999.  He went on to further his flute studies with David Nicholson in Edinburgh and Emily Benyon in the Netherlands.  On his return to Edinburgh he worked as General Manager of Hebrides Ensemble and as a performer and teacher.  In 2007 he was appointed Artistic Administrator at the Edinburgh International Festival.  In 2014 he moved with his family to Luxembourg.
