Stevenson, Alan, 1947-
Alan Stevenson studied as an architect at the University of Edinburgh and was a keen double bass player.
He played with the Scottish Ensemble, the Scottish National Orchestra and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.
In 1971 he set up his business making hard cases for double basses and cellos and is now based in Norfolk.
