Sommer, Günter 'Baby', 1943-
Günter 'Baby' Sommer was born in Dresden and studied at the Hochschule für Music 'Carl Maria von Weber. He is a drummer who is an exponent of contemporary European jazz and active in the improvised music scene. In his role as Professor at the Hochschule für Music in Dresden he has an influence on the professional imparting of contemporary jazz to the next generations.
