Winner of the Florence Vietch Ibler Prize for Oratorio 2010, Scottish mezz-soprano, Laura Margaret Smith read music at the University of Edinburgh before gaining Distinction in her Postgraduate Diploma in Vocal Performance at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, studying under Margaret Izatt.
