Sawers, Ingrid, 1966-

Ingrid Rebecca Sawers was born and brought up in the north-east of England.  She moved to Edinburgh in 1985 where she attended Edinburgh University and studied piano with Peter Evans, Alexandra Andrievsky and later with Roger Vignoles.  She is much in demand as an accompanist and chamber musician.  Ingrid is based in Edinburgh where she also works as a piano teacher and travels worldwide as an examiner for the ABRSM.
