 (John) Sims Reeves; b. Shooter’s Hill, Kent, 1818;  d. 1900, Worthing, London;

Tenor who studied in Paris and Milan
In his early career he was a member of the company of the Theatre Royal in Edinburgh.
Performed regularly with the Hallé Orchestra at their Thursday concerts in Manchester between Nov 1859 and Feb 1872
