Popplewell, Richard, 1935-2016

English organist, composer and teacher Richard Popplewell was a chorister and organ scholar at King's College, Cambridge where he studied organ with Sir David Willcocks.  He was accompanist to the Bach Choir from 1966 to 1978, and held positions as assistant organist at St Paul's Cathedral and organist, choirmaster and composer to HM Chapels Royal and a professor at the Royal College of Music in London.
