Pielou, Sanchia, 1915-1993
Sanchia Florence Pielou was born in Eire in 1915. She married Nathan Grant Macey in 1950
Founder member and Principal harpist with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra from 1935 and played regularly with the Reid Orchestra.
Teacher of the concert harp and Celtic harp at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.
