Perkins, Julian

Julian Perkins read music at King's College, Cambridge and continued studies at the Schola Cantorum, Basle, the Royal Academy of Music, London and with Trevor Pinnock before pursing a career as a soloist, chamber musician and conductor.  Based in the UK he is Artistic Director of Cambridge Handel Oper and Sounds Baroque and (in 2023), has recently succeeded Monica Huggett as Artistic Director of Portland Baroque Orchestra in Oregon, USA.
