Paling, Edwin, 1948-
Edwin Paling was born in Nottingham and studied with Sidney Griller at the Royal Academy of Music in London.
He played with a number of orchestras in England before moving to Scotland where he was leader of the Scottish National Orchestra for 35 years.
In 2007 he moved with his wife to Australia.
