Madame Otta-Alvsleben was described in the concert programme of the Reid Festival on 14 February 1874 as "of the Opera House of Dresden, Berlin etc." She performed regularly with the Hallé Orchestra at their Thursday concerts in Manchester between February 1873 and February 1875 (9 occasions).
