O'Neal, Christopher
Christopher O'Neal studied at the Royal College of Music and won scholarships to study with two of the century's greatest oboists, Terence MacDonagh and Heinz Holliger. He was principal oboe with the Orchestra of St John's Smith Square and co-principal with the London Mozart Players, dedicated much of his time to chamber music and is a founder member of Capricorn (1973). Christopher O'Neal was also Professor of oboe at Trinity College, London.
