Dare, Marie, 1902-1976

Scottish composer and cellist born in Newport-on-Tay in 1902.

She was based in Edinburgh and was an active bass player, cellist and teacher in the city until shortly before her death in 1976.
Her memorial service was held at the church of St Andrew and St George, George Street, Edinburgh.
