Lester, Noel K. - 2016

Classical concert pianist and chamber musician Noel Lester was born in New York State and started piano lessons at the age of three.  He attended the Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore as a scholarship student where he studied with Ellen Mack.  He won numerous prizes and made his New York debut at the Carnegie Hall in 1988 and his European debut in 1991 in Hamburg.  Noel Lester was Professor and Chair of the department of music at Hood College in Fredericksburg, Maryland, USA, where he was also Artistic Director and pianist member of the Hood College Chamber Players.
