Lester, Gabrielle, 1961-

Born in London in 1961 Gabrielle started to play the violin at the age of three.
Studied at the Yehudi Menuhin School, the Royal College of Music in London and for three years with Sandor Vegh in Saltzburg.
She joined the Chamber Orchestra of Europe and became principal second violin and appeared as a soloist with the orchestra.
Gabrielle has performed as a soloist and chamber musician with many of the leading ensembles in Europe.
In May 1991 was appointed principal second violin of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra.
