Kenny, John, 1957-

John Kenny, trombonist and composer, was born in Birmingham and is internationally acclaimed for his interpretation of contemporary music.  He studied trombone with Harold Nash at the Royal Academy of Music in London and in 1980 an Arts Council bursary enabled him to study contemporary techniques and composition with James Fulkerson.
